I was looking for a good-quality dog-walking waterproof that could cope with a typical Lizard downpour, and first impressions are very positive. IDye to the length I was expecting this to be quite a heavy waterproof l, but it’s surprisingly lighter than I expected, which makes it comfortable to wear without feeling too bulky or heavy.
Of course, since buying it the weather has been glorious, so it hasn’t yet faced a proper Cornish soaking! That said, I’m impressed with the quality and fit so far and it feels like it should do the job nicely when the rain eventually returns.
The only minor niggle was that the zip was sticking slightly at first, but a quick squirt of WD40 sorted it out. I’ve had the same thing with new zips before, so certainly not something I’d mark it down for.
