I am so happy that finisterre are doing elasticated waists in their heavier weight trouser. They are just what I have been searching for for a few years . I wanted a more ‘architectural’ loose trouser for the cooler shoulder seasons and this heavy organic cotton is just right for the cooler autumn days we are currently having. Very comfy and practical. I would like it available in more exciting colours - the light brown is serviceable if dull , so I have to wear brighter colours on top but that is ok.
The fit is very baggy and I like trousers loose but not too much so I tried different sizes and settled on the 28” (26 too tight to get on easily and 30 just too much fabric). I am a size 12/14 on the bottom ( waist 31”, hips 41”) and there is plenty of ease in these .
More of this kind please and I would definitely buy other colours ( not black though ….)
